    Fault Analysis of Elevator Door Failure to Close

Fault Symptom: The elevator door closes very slowly, with the door panel exhibiting vibration. The closing process halts midway. After executing an open command, the door closes again but stops. Upon executing another open command, the door machine inverter displays motor overload.

Inspect whether the car door or landing door has sustained bottom support brackets due to external impact. If the bottom slider has deformed from door panel impact, increased friction with the groove causes excessive door panel operating resistance. This may overload the elevator door machine motor or trigger the inverter's safety protection by detecting excessive motor current. Simultaneously, check for door panel deformation. If deformation is present, disassemble the door panel for repair and restore it to its original condition.

Elevator Electric Door Usage Precautions:

1: Strictly prohibited from pushing carts in or out of the elevator during door opening or closing.

2: Strictly prohibited from obstructing the elevator light curtain with transparent objects! The elevator's infrared light curtain can penetrate transparent objects. Failure to detect transparent objects sends an erroneous signal to the elevator. If the transparent object collides with the door during operation, it may damage the door mechanism.

3: Keep the door sill groove free of debris. Particles may obstruct door panel movement.

The elevator doors cannot close.
